7000HD not seeing my hard drive

Can anyone help.
I have the supplied siemens hard drive but my Eurovox 7000 wont see it as attached, keeps coming up as USB not attacheded.
If I unplug I see a message saying USB unlugged and when I plug in I see a message saying USB plugged in.

Its just when I push PVR or record comes up as npt attached.

Anyone any ideas.

I have another drive as recieved from the factory and the siemens which I formated on my lappy.

The drive needs to be formatted to FAT32. Try using a freeware program called swissknife.

If your using vista as ur os then google fat32formatter as swissknife won't run on vista.
