Technomate 1500ci

I have a tecnomate 1500ci and a starview 5 box but that box has died therefore i have no way of watching tv but people have been telling me that there is a way to link up the tecnomate to the internet to get most of the sky channels back, i was just wondering if this is true or not and if so what do i need to do to get it to work.

hi m8, the technomate you have is pretty old now but still opens a few channels via emu/keys. the receiver you have heard about is a technomate tm500/600 which can with the right connection and settings could do what you want via c/s but it is highly dodgy so its against the rules to talk about on most cable/satellite forums including d.k. (but not all). your best bet is to google cccam and c/s and do alot of reading to give you a idea of whats involved. regards mdt

If you cant watch tv at all it means you have"nt a sat dish which you must have even for FTA channels on your TM1500 or any other satellite box.
