Live Pause & Recording SkyHD

Hi, is there a workaround for the pause and record function on the HD Box if you no longer subscribe to sky? I have a pretty new SKY+HD box and with just FTA its pretty useless. If there is no workaround can somebody suggest an alternative? Many thanks in advance, and apologies for Newbie question!

the only way to get the function working is to pay sky?10 a month for the function to work ! the rerason being is each and every station provider paysfor the epg data so sky wont make it free !!! i guess another reason is that the main man himself wants to make more money !!

there has to be a way....Its like the copying/cloning of the sky card allegedly it cant be done, but everything else can be copied and cloned from credit cards, phone sims, etc..

The reason that these dont come out into the general forum is people are scared as Sly have and will fercioscly take people to task over any interference with their equipment

I also am pissed off that I cannot record programs with my freeview only choice!! You can do it with a dreambox so it should be possible with a Sky+ box???
