Maxx 1000 Channels & Broadband Requirements

I am thinking about buying a Maxx 1000 of the net. But I have 2 questions about the satellite receiver.

1. In order to view the flashed channels on the box is bradband required every time I watch the box I will tell you my situation I have mobile broadband that is not 100% reliable so I cannot have it linked up to the satellite box every time I watch the tv but my broadband is good enough to download the lastest firmware or patches. So my question is: Is my broadband good enough to use the Maxx 1000?

2. The advertisment says that the receiver will be able to pick up the following packages:Digital+, Premiere, TPS, Multivision, Cyfra, Canal+, FRA, Ala Carte PPV, Canal+NL, Digi TV, Nova and ART
is this possible without a cs situation or is there a patch that unlucks these channels?

Mate your box must have a constant internet connection to work as the channels are viewed via a server. You could get 1w with the patch but that applies to almost every box at the mo. Not sure how long we are going to get 1w with as they are in the process of migrating to N3.

You will need a proper bb connection and you will open the sats that you mentioned,the maxx connects to a server and opens sport movies and shed loads of ~~~~ on 13E,obviously a motorised system is needed and your box will need to be online always in order to view the package channels.
