it would be a good idea

my m8 used to be able to fiddle his electric by sparking the meter with an electric current like a lighter but it only worked on certain meters

Even if it could be done the only money that would be deducted from your bill would be when you charged the card legitimately, no good trying to charge a gas card unless you are also able to hack into the computers that register when you buy it !!

if your gas is inside you can just turn the gas off and turn the meter facing the other way me grandad did it for years god rest his soul i cant cos my gas is outside and your f**ked if you get caught

it does work it makes the meter run backwards then you put it back and it runs forwrd again easy its only two bolts

be careful not to mark the nuts though use a thin rag

its simple m8 disconnect it just turn the meter round so it faces the wall reconnect the meter will run down not up dont forget to turn your gas off first

just get your timings right for meter reading use for a month or so running backwards then equal it out by running forwrds you may find yourself leaving fires and heating on all day to balance the clock though

              i remember me grandad did

not sure it works with the new meters, though it might( ours stops working if you knock it). but if you are going to mess with your meter, simply disconnect the two pipes, in and out, and then connect the two together. bingo no meter at all. this works with older meters, but its funny seeing the panic when the gas man comes to read the meter. but ?20 often keeps them quiet if they do notice.

i believe you can doctor these cards, but you gain nothing from it. as the gas is still charged to your bill, you just wont get credit cos you did not pay.

i remember the early prepayment meters with the little red dial which turns round, some people still have them but most have been changed, stick an old credit card sized card in the gap where the face of the meter meets the meter itself above the little red dial, push it down and it stops the meter dial turning and your credit lasts ages. as it is as if your not using any gas! oh i do miss them meters!

                        Warning

Absolutely not you will blow up your house The meter has a reducer built in to it to reduce the gas pressure inside you house

I'm sure you are right, but how long will it take? to my knowledge this has been working in one house for 15 years.

gas pressure can be handled very simply and effectively every house has a lever to turn off the gas

pressure can be turned down by slightly turning the lever to the off position i found this out when installing a combi the pressure was too high it was blowing the pilot out a simple little turn on the lever stopped this

its basic stuff like running a tap the more its open the more pressure is behind it
