dm800 repair or part exchange

my dm800 has been out for past couple of months, all it does is red light keeps flashing constantly and on the lcd it shows 'dream multimedia ->error!'. iv managed to change all sorts of images but all come out with the same result. I know its not the image problem as it was working fine for few weeks but happened when i unplugged from mains and plugged it back in.

is there anyone willing to repair it for me or exchange it with another one, willing to pay for the cost

Probably the power supply is faulty, try the heat and see if I start.

1. dl your image,(i take it its a clone)

2. then use this to flash the correct bl after you flash the image

can you put a sat tuner in a dm cable or do have to solder

If its a clone 800 there is a 50/50 chance an original Dreambox tuner will not work, its just that short cuts are take in some case to get the clone working if there were problems in its production, also different materials are used than that of real dreamboxs thus causing in some cases errors.

Hi,
my new DM800 worked about 1 week.
Suddenly there is no Video and Audio, just black on TV.
After reboot, which comes likely normal, but at the end, still dark on TV and no reactions to Remote.
Does anyone knows, what's happened?

check sim card is not loose common problem, try raising the pins of the sim reader
