You are better to buy a clone through a established UK company there are a few good online stores (Not all of them ! do some background research like sent an email and see if they respond) , buy within the UK simply because Import duty could be up to you once the postman delivers it, on other occasions its possable that it will not make it past customs, as these clone items are flagged at the point of entry.

I have noticed the price of the 800 HD has sored by around 30 pounds over the past few weeks due to currency convertion rates between the Euro-Stg & the Hong-Kong Dollar, this is been passed on to customers, so now it not realy the time to buy one .

You would have to ask the sellers mate.

The previous tuners Rev.J & Rev.K caused freezing and glitching on some HD channels. There was a capacitor fix flying around that seemed to solve most peoples problems but it involved soldering of small components to the tuner board or sending your tuner back to your supplier, at a cost.

The problem was pretty large and the manufacturers seemed to have responded to it pretty quickly by shipping out boxes with the new Rev.L3 tuner, which had a bigger capacitor and some other components changed. This revision, from what I have read, has solved peoples HD problems, although some still have to use an inline amplifier to keep the signal strength as high as possible.

Should be receiving mine around the 23rd-24th from Yaoxcin. Paid for it a few weeks back but they said they had no stock

                  Anyway, hope this helped.

The only difference I can see is that the original DM800 has a 400mhz processor and the clone versions have 300MHZ processor. But looking at the original it states
Dream Multimedia's flagship receiver is now available
No other receiver comes close to this spec:

400 MHz Processor, Linux Operating System (fully Open Source)
Full size OLED display, 2 x DVB-S2 tuners fitted as standard
2 x additional slots for optional S2/C/T tuners
                            4 x Common Interface slots, 2 x Smartcard Readers
RS232, Compact Flash and SD card slots
                            3 x USB 2.0, 10/100Mbit Ethernet, Embedded WiFi, AC-3 audio
DVI, 2 x Scart, Component and Composite phono outputs
(HDMI cable included), 128MB flash, 256MB RAM
