    No satellite signal

    Hi
    I used to be a sky customer, but now its been a year since I have left them, but I still watch the freeview channels and for the last 2 days i havent been recieving any satellite signal , what colud be the problem??

    Your LNB may need changing or the dish may have been moved by the winds.

      it could be also a F connector problem or cable... have you tried to turn off and plug off the receiver and then reconnect it (some king of power reset ) the power supply for the LNB is protected so in case of short circuit it turns off and remains so until you restart the receiver...

        is it all the FTA channels youve lost or just the 1st 5, bbc1/2 itv1 ch4 & five.if so you either need a new card from sky or you can put these channels back via the add channels function for free.

          Have you checked the LNB settings in your decoder just in case they have been erased
