    Box Freezes At "Loading Kernel"

Can anyone help with this problem.

Got up this morning to find my box stuck at the Laky Pro loading screen. Rebooted quite a few times and it never budged further than this screen

Reflashed the image and still got the same thing.

I then downloaded and flashed SS Enigma V4.0 and again it goes no further than the loading screen.

Back to Lacky Pro and then again to Enigma, All stop at the same point.

I have also tried the Virgin image with slightly different results. Looks like it loads the kernel but the lcd reads "waiting for EPG" whilst on screen is still the loading picture.

Flashed the box with different IFA versions so dont think that is the problem.

I have ordered a null modem cable to run a bootlog but that wont be here until tomorrow.

Any ideas or is the box destined for Dbox heaven.

    Thanks in advance.

Waiting for epg or waiting for time is normally a signal issue could be a tuner fault. Best advice is post a boot log and someone should be able to advise.

Not a signal fault as I have another box running via the same connection.

Could be tuner fault but that (I guess) would not stop any image loading fully. Possibly a chip fault.

Once the null modem cabel arrives I will run a boot log and take it from there.

Sounds like a chip fault to me.

Post a Boot Log and we'll be able to tell.
