    Help Instaling Windows 7?!?!

    Hi Guys and Girls

    I have a copy of windows 7 which i got from the local college now it works and things coz i have installed it on my friends laptop but when i try and install it on mine it doesn't work!!

    when i try to in stall it it gets to the page were "installing windows" but its the copying files sometimes it makes it to 100% then goes to expanding files then it gets to like 6% then comes up saying invailed "error code: 0x8007370A."


    i down loaded windows 7 advisor and it says i need sp1 for vista thinking right get that and its sorted i downloaded that and it comes up with the same error message!!!

    can anyone help ???

      I have had a prob like this in Vista, and the answer was to turn off your screensaver before you start the upgrade. Worth a try ...?

        haha the screensaver that actually makes sense coz my system goes on to standby after like 20 mins so could be am in work just now so i'll need to try that when i get home ... coz the sp1 install takes up to one hr so ... fingers crossed
