No DVB-S2 signal DM800 Clone

Hi All , i have just set up my 1m motorised dish with dm800 clone , (bl 75 and rev k tuner).
When setting up i have now realised my setup isnt getting a signal at all on dvb-s2 channels ,no signal , tune failed and strange noise from tuner on hd channels (definately not fan noise) dvb-s works fine ,even on nabilo sat-finder when selecting dvb-s2 in sub menu signal drops to 0.
Can anybody advise if doing C1 , Q1 , Q2 , and Q3 change will fix this issue as its driving me crazy , i have tried 20db inline booster and no change ,

Anyone have any experiance of this fault and know of a fix , any advice appreciated

that is the correct fix for that problem

It does sound like the tuner has gone are you scanning and the bar is moving faster than normal and finding 0 channels, also 20db in line amp is no good for dm800 you need a slope 13-18db

doesnt seem to move faster than normal bubbles ,
yes , when scanning with DVB-S2 selected , returns zero channels

can anybody test on satfinder within Nabilo image , does your signal drop to zero when changing from DVB-S1 to DVB-S2 ,
not getting signal on mine , however now getting some signal when on hd channels , are all hd channels DVB-S2 ?

i have the same problem when i use the dvd s option i can pick up a lock on a satellite but when i change to dvd s2 i do not pick up anything what is the c1,q1, q3 fix thanks

Hi Mate , i eventually fixed this issue by changing c1 capacitor only , and purchased a booster ,

are you any good with a soldering iron

i have no idea what rev is my tuner where would i find that information, niablo blackhole v12 bootloader 72, can u take a picture of the board and point out the c1 capacitor ,where would i get a new capacitor cheers mate for the reply

you would have to remove the tuner from dm , rev is printed on the underside , j or k ,

i used these caps too replace
16V 1000uF 105?C electrolytic radial Capacitor X 5pcs on eBay (end time 05-May-10 13:01:06 BST)
