3 mobile broadband

Im hoping someone can explain this for me...Ive recently moved house, and have currently borrowed a 3 mobile broadband dongle from a friend..It had 3 gig on it when he gave it me and said i could use as much as i want until i decide whether im going with sky or bt for my broadband..Ive just oredered a free 3 sim from a thread on here, to which ive had an email saying its been despatched..Would i be able to put my free 3 sim into this dongle and get any free internet?...PLUS....the dongle im using at the moment with 3 gig on, Am i able to use skype without using any gig--as in free of charge as 3 advertise skype is free....Sorry for so many questions, but just want to know so that i know whether i need to go carefulo on my 3 gig useage.cheers

i know the the thread you are refering to about the free sim, but i think it is for phones and not broadband dongles. i had the same idea with t mobile and got a free sim for a phone it did not work had to go on ebay and get a broadband sim as the t mobile shop will not sell the sim without dongle.

I got the free three sim and it came with 1gig free, now I just buy addons to keep the data going, it works fine like that and as far as i can make out its the cheapest way to get mobile broadband for light use.
