DM500 Clone doesn't lock signal

I bought new DM500s clone, I have flashed gemini and everything else is ready, but the satelite doesn't get locked
I managed to get SNR: 60-70% AGC 80-90% ber:0 by changing all the possible values for lnb setting.

what v gemini ? what sat? what dish do you have ect?

I use DM500s clone flashed with GEMINI 3.60 fully loaded with c:line and all sent to me by my cs provider as .bin file

Iam using JONSA 60cm dish with ORBSAT o.s 525 lnb KU

Pointing to THAICOM2/5 78.6E >>> I live in Bangkok

it even shows same snr 63% even without any cable input from the dish for any satellite for that matter. Help needed

I personally think the problem might be from dm500, bcoz it shows the same signal without any cable input

one of my clone 5oo s has the tuner chips on the main board not in a tin can, on auto scan only found 3 of 10 tp s until I put my hand over the tuner chip while it was scanning. definitely needs some screening.

My problem is.... this unit is new (can it have faulty chip in it) ?. Please eloborate 'how do you put your hand over the tuner chip while it is scanning' ??. Thanks for the help.

as I said the tuner chips are on the main board with no screening & suspect tuner chip recieving processor hash detuning it?
this clone was easy to spot as has an orange solder mask and no tin can behind the lnb sockets.

My 500s clone does the same thing, 63% signal, AGR at 86%-92% but no lock at all, and signal stays at 63% even when it doesn't have the cable attached to it... tried GP, Nabilo Darkstar, SifTeam, all with the same results.

To me, sounds like a hard problem...

Maybe you have locked onto wrong satellite

Don't think so, I still get 63% signal moving the dish more than 20 deg. from original position, and I mean I get 63% all the time

Hi.And I have the same problem with dm 500-s.I have chenge tuner , ic Q72 , but nothing.All voltage point are OK.I have not try with new image.I am using gemini 4.6. I am sure that isnt porblem dimension of disch , LNB,or fault contact. Maybe it is e clon problem , but i think that my dream is original. Mac adress 00:09:34:xxxx.

Got a new clone and this one got fluctuations on the signal, so the problem was the DM500, not sure what (tuner, Q72 or what) but the thing is, the new one works.

Anyone have a fix for this ,besides useing a power injecter?
