emu key

Hi there,
i have just recieved a ex1000sl, selected the transponder for my area it scanned, found all the channels but i can only view the f.t.a channels, the last time i done one of these boxes it said code being updated and all the channels came in, im wondering is there a secret menu like the starviews to turn on the emu key or are these totally different, thanks in advance.

The firmware is ready to go, just re-flash and rescan, firmware available in downloads

it was the firmware, the last few i got came with the latest firmware installed so it was just plug and play more or less, i was expectin this one to be the same should have looked into it a bit more before i posted, but as always your help is greatly appreciated, thanks again lad's.
