PLI Images

Hi guys,

I'm going to install PLI Image on my DM500-S clone (Chinese).

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between PLI Jade3 and OpenPLI? Which one is better?

Am I right to install this one: PLi? Images website.

If not, which one is right?

What is Old Framebuffer?

Which is better Mgcamd or CCcam?

Im not a pli user anymore but plijade3 if im right is a fully tested / stable image release and the openpli images are BETA test images compiled with the pli open sorce codes released by the pli jade makers /users nightly.
Basically openpli and plijade are all same image just modded/recoded by users rather than pli team with extra bits included but and then compiled by pli teams data base and released on there site.

You can download those from the Pli teams image server directly to your box.

For PLI Jade
Menu > Setup > Software Management > Downloads > Softcams.

google pli turko and they make all the latest CLONE safe images for your box with all cams already installed..Do not install a pli image from pli site or u will brick your box and have a headache trying to rescue it..Hope this helps

the pli jade image and the maxvar image are both clonesafe images for the dm500s. as for cccam or mgcamd its all down to preference and what you want to do with them. also mgcamd has lower ecm,s
