    URGENT XMAS EVE WII ADVICE

Hello, firstly thankyou in advanced for reading my important post.

I planned to burn my sister some backup wii games for xmas, but i've come to test them now and im having issues.

I downloaded and burnt Sims 3 and Mario Kart, updated CiOS to rev 17, and installed NeoGamma r8 final with no trouble but when I come to loading the games i recive disc read error 1167

    ANY ADVICE MUCH APPRECIATED.

    Thanks again.

Are you using dvd-r, is it a new wii ( bought lately ), you could try neogamma r9. What speed did you burn at.

Burnt on TDK DVD-R+ at 4x

The wii is a couple years old and has played Mario Kart before on wii backup launcher 0.3, i just tested conduit on backup launcher 0.3 and it worked but it just hangs on a black screen with the new mario kart disc (lost the old one) and sims 3 disc i made :S

My guess media issue, other info would be needed, ie fw version ect

I use titanuim -dvdr for my wii games

1/ You could try update your cIOS again, just keep a copy of your old one. If you need to revert back to rev 17, just install it over whatever rev your gonna try now. 2/ try to burn at a slower speed with -r . 3/ update your neagamma. If you haven't used the wii in a while, maybe you dont have the required ios to run those particular games.

-r's are the only job for wii games. Do you have an external hdd laying around. If so you could install a usb loder on your wii, transfer the iso's to the hdd and play through usb loader.
