I had a very bad Christmas my star7 went dead and my rear shed cold water pipe busted on Christmas day afternoon and I am still struggling because the plumbers do not want to work over the Christmas, well I will have to do with what I have got mate, any way were are you in 23% are you any way in Egypt?

don't get me started..... problem with combi.... plumber in...bang bang bang clatter bang catter ... 2.5 hours later... you will be happy to know you're pump has been replaced.... bad news.... I ~~~~ed all you're pipes up putting in the new pump.... you now have 3 leaks

I had a good holiday folks, thanks. Came back to a crawl up the road in some snow last night!!
I just have to get my head to stop thinking about all that lovely sunshine still going on in other parts of the world

@ Lainie.. Hope you're mum's got her water back on now

@ super jumbe I was in the canaries so nearly as warm as Egypt but you get a very pleasant breeze which keeps it nice.


@ Grizz hopefully I will be able to get my leaks sorted in my boiler.. I figure it might be as simple as just replacing the seals in diverter valve as the guy who was here didn't fit any new ones and just stuck loads of ptfe on the threads. hopefully I will get more seals within the next day or two and tackle it at the weekend. I know how to drain down the system and can easily fit the seals and apply more ptfe. If it goes wrong I'll give you a shout
