hi i have just dance 2 original for the wii put it into my wii and it wants to do a system update.
please advise on if this is safe to do.
my wii is softmoded running on v4.2e

is it asking to update system or shop channel?
try updating the shop first Digital Kaos - Downloads - 4.3 shop channel updater v20
also look @ installing priiloader to block updates

Piiloader is the way to go. got it and sorts all my unwanted updates

right here comes the thick part sorry, i've downloaded priiloader now what do i do just instal through hbc, once this is done how does it work in relation too just dance 2 can i then put the disc in and when it comes up about system update just allow it to update or do i have to do something else first

you can access priiloader in the future by holding in the reset button while powering on.
if you get an error saying cant find hacks.ini go here http://sites.google.com/site/complet...cks/priiloader download hacks for 4.2 and put the file on the root of sd card

JD2 uses ios56.
You can install priiloader to block the update. On install the latest version of ios56 since you are using the original game disc.

download and extract this onto root of sd card,restart priiloader and you should be able to block updates

one other thing if you all would be kind enough to help a idiot out, on this game i can buy more songs it says to go into the shoping channel to buy credits, i've never used the shopping channel b4 when i tried to use it it comes up error 002 remove disc and turn wii off, i've tried removing the disc but still the same thing
do i have to have some sort of modded version of the shopping channel i'm on firmware 4.2e and its been sortmodded with bannerbomb (dont know if you need to know this but hey ho)
