Hi, anyone have any know how on burglar alarms. I set it when I went out, when I returned a few hours later the keypad is completely dead. I took the cover off and found the backup battery terminal had coroded to such an extent that the cable was no longer connected to it. I am still getting a mains feed to the panel (Optima XM). I have ordered a new battery but should it still be working on the mains feed? Any advice welcome.
