Dsi updated and R4 card not working

Hi all please can someone HELP!
I updated my daughters DSI yesterday and now the R4 card does not work, it comes :

An error has occured
Press and hold the power
button to turn off the system
Please refer to nintedo DSI
Operations manual for details

I have and R4i V1.4 card is will I be able to update this card (I have a an old DS) or will I need to buy a new one if so which one can I buy that will work straight away?

no m8, it can't be updated for 1.4.2 .

time for a new card by the looks of it.....

acekard will come ready, just need to change the firmware on yer sd card.

wifi r4i v1.4.1 upgrade revolution for ds www.r4i-sdhc.com card was working and has stopped

well if the console has stopped seeing the card, it maybe a contact problem between the card and console.

best thing to do first is try card in another console

card might be faulty, only other thing you can try is reformatting the sd card and putting the firmware on again....

download the 1.40b firmware from the cards site and try that.
