hey there does anyone know if there is new firmware availible for the eurovox my last udate was back in september, but the box apears not to be working now, any assistance would be appreciated. regards

Firstly you should send a pm to devilfish and have your unsername chnaged form you email addy. Considering the subject matters discuused on DK maintaining a certain amount of anonymity is essential.

hi i have put the download onto 2 boxes now i can get no channels at all could someone help me. thanks

Hiya.
Although you now have the correct firmware on the boxes, you need to get them to do a rescan to find all the channels again - a bit like re tuning an old car stereo if you will.

Go into the menu settings and hunt about till you find an option to delete all channel data (as its incorrect or else you wouldnt need to update the box), and reset to factory defaults.
Now do a powerscan, making sure the key is either at 6.952 or 6.887 depending on your area (if the box worked previously it will still be there ok) and 40 mins later you will have all your channels, although quite a few will need renamed to make sense - no big deal

Hi m8, Have the box power OFF and then run firmware, when message comes power ON box.
Also make sure to select COMM port.

Hi m8, what area/town are you in as N3 is being rolled out across UK.

If no N3 in your area, then do a clear data/factory reset and do a deep scan using the correct symbol rate for your area/provider as VM have moved channels to different frequencies.
