Openbox s10 and Mgcamd

Getting an s10 later today for testing,this will be my first time even seeing one of these receivers so have a couple of questions for ye guys in the know.
Can I get mgcamd installed on the box or does the firmware include it.
Also what and where does the config file go?
I'll work out the process of channel list etc but need to know about the cam as the server thats going to feed it runs mgcam.
Appreciate any help on this one guys....first time being in the Openbox section.I'm normally a couple of sections above in the Dreambox area.

mgcamd inbedded in firmware, i use an newcamd line with this function. Loading cccam.cfg and the like couldn't be easier, just use the options within the menus to upgrade, backup and installing files.

OK thanks...ill be using a newcamd.list file with the details in it.
So do i ftp it in or can i modify it via remote?

Via USB and remote

Can FTP it, but i have never done it that way. Probably easier if you dont have good access to the rear of the reciever for the uSB stick

have you checked that the file loaded correctly

menu > network Setup > MGCamd plug setup > manage cfg files >enter select newcamd.list > enter

are the lines you uploaded there!

Have same problem here, uploaded my newcamd.list to my openbox s10 and not working.

Just note that same newcamd.list file works without problem on my old dreambox 500s & newcamd 1.35a

Can someone help with this issue as it seems that the openbox S10 mgcamd plugin does not works well or there is a minor bug that can be fixed with a new firmware patch.

tried adding the lines in manually via manage config files option?

and are the lines in the files in the correct syntax

CWS = server.name port userid password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Did you remember to turn DHCP on in Network settings. If not,

Select Network Local Setting and press OK.At DHCP select ?ON? and then select ?Apply ? press OK.

mgcam not working 100%

ok guys i have just spent 2 days downloading all the different firmwares from original to latest openbox firmware and on all of them,
i cannot run mgcam

i am not a novice or newbie !
loaded manually and by usb!

newcamd.list and cccam.cfg with an n-line

either way it does not connect !

but with c-line or with n-line or CWS in other boxes working !

there are endless reviews all over the net with the same problem !

so if anyone has an image with mgcam working! ( and tested by them )
would they be so kind as to upload it to share with everyone ?

also there is no way to add mg_cfg to the box ! ( even when using STBHD_LAN_MM )

c-line or with n-line or CWS, my s9 works fine with all 3 of these m8
the c and n i put on with usb but the cws i put in with the remote control, on newcamd list, set 3 of them up in there so far and all have worked fine
