Three guys at work where carrying on about athletics, really getting heated up about out. Someone asked me my opinion and i said : what's the point of watching a bunch of steroid junkies running up and down a field.
What does it prove ? Nothing.
Who's the best boxer nowadays, the guy taking the most steroids.
who's the best runner, the guy taking the most steroids.
Who's the guy making the most money, the guy selling them the steroids.
Sports: what a bunch of commercialised, fake, flag waving, cheating, junkies, liars, hypocrites, syringe-and-needle carrying, pill-swallowing, piss-swapping, doped up dopes

thats a very narrow minded and rather arrogant opinion, i know everybody is entitled to their opinion. So a few 'athletes' have been caught for taking things over the years. You think that tarring them all with the same brush is the way to go, very sad.

However could you not have made a better first post. This is one way to make first impression.

Let see what people have to say to you huh... I bet they guys at work try to avoid talking to you..

Let me just say in my defence, i do know something about athletics. My brother used to work as a volunteer at the olympic village helping to clean up and the such like. The amount of needle and syringes, empty pill bottles etc he found beggars belief.
i don't think that people should post comments unless they know what they are talking about. Sport is not squeaky clean. As to the last post, i am indeed a little more knowledgeable then most

Hmnnn, i am beginning to think your here to ruffle a few feathers young man.

You need to look at facts here, and in the minority of athletes that are giving the sport a bad name. Yep there are quite a lot that will be using some self enhancing drugs, and most are on the borderline, but thats why we got dope testing, and winners do have to undergo these tests.

Most sports use something to perform better, and i can only speak on my experiences.

I used to race Pigeons, Whippets, and greyhounds and the tricks people will do or use is nobody's business. Ive seen it all, from Cortisone drops in Pigeons eyes to smearing Liniment in an opposing dogs eyes to stop it from seeing properly
