Updated 360 on line now none off my new back up plays

Hi all,
updated the kids 360 today to the new dashboard on line now all the DL games which they have will not play but all there genuine games work fine ! even games i have downloaded that did work and they have orginal of only the orginal works im lost

Any 1 else having same problem or advice ?
Do i need to get there box reflashed ? (it was flash just over a year ago)
any ideas will be great dont want to let them loose with orginal game cost loads

I've never heard of this happening.

The backups should still be working fine, there is no anti-piracy code in the new dashboard.

I have two 360's which are modded and I've updated both of them to the new dashboard and they are still playing backups as before.

Sounds like you laser may be on it's way out.

Witchy is right, i had the same problem but Changed the laser & all is good again

You don't have to change the laser. Try tweaking the pot of the laser. Google for the tutorial. As for reflashing if you had it done about a year ago the chances are you are using ixtreme 1.4, the latest is 1.5. If you are on 1.3 expect a ban
