    New desk top???

Thinking of getting a new desk top. Currently have a hp pavillion a310.uk. Very happy with pc other than only having 80 Gig HD, now has 1 Gig of ram.
Running xp pro & office 2007 pro. can I increase hard drive or do I need to look to replace the pc???

Just upgrade the Hard drive mate, it's a quick and simple solution.

Why not grab another 1GB of Ram and pop that inside at the same time, you'l lnotice a considerable speed increase.

upgrading desk top pc is fairly straight forward. how old is your present pc, whitch type of hd that can be added could depened on its age either ide drive or sata also you could increase the memory maybe all depends on the mobo. more info would be helpful.

        What Witchy said

I agree with Witchy.. if your happy with your Desktop just upgrade it..

Your memory.. extra 1GB.. ,makes yours 2GB, Max for your spec..

        ?23 from crucial.com/uk

        1GB, 184-pin DIMM, DDR PC2700

        Hard Drive.. Try a 1TB (1000GB) for ?80 or 500GB for ?48
