There appears to be no signal from my dm7025 s-video port, I cant find an option in the menu to turn it on?

What box is that mate? I dont know any DM that has s-video output.

In case you are confused - the port on the back of the db is not s-vid - it's mini din for external IR. you can get converters from scart-s-vid etc but there is substantial video quality loss
