d box help needed

i am trying to get in the menu of a nokia d box for ip address, however i dont have original remote and their is not a menu button on remote, just home and d box buttons, would appreciate any help, cheers.

does it show ip address on boot

once u press dbox on remote u cant then get into settings??....

there isn't a menu button on a dbox2 nokia remote

hi metman, thanks for the fast reply. the image on box is blade trinity, it does not show ip address on boot up. the remote you have shown is exactly the same, basicially what i am trying to do is access settings , network, to ftp over roms. when i press d box on remote it wont let me in to settings, i have done this before on this box, just can't remember how to access settings.

When you press the Dbox button it should bring up a list, is Settings on this list?

hi witchy, when i press the d box button, nothing happens, thats my problem can't seem to get access.

Does the green sensor LED flicker on the Dbox2 when you press the button?

hi witchy, no it does not flicker with i press dbox, only buttons that flicker the sensor are channel buttons, volume, and the yellow button.

try puting http://192.168.0.24 into explorer address bar and see if there's yweb where u can use the virtual remote

i have tried that with no joy metman, guess its a new working image or remote, will not give up yet, thanks for all help received, will keep ye posted if i can get it sorted, cheers.

dimantled the remote aand put it back together again and everythings now sorted. feel like a plonker that i did not try this before posting, thanks again lads and a belated happy new year to all.
