    Linksys USB Jtag cable (WRT54XX)

I am trying to make a Jtag cable for a linksys WRT54G. I've

found a few places online that sell them, but I want to build one
    myself.

One of the main reasons I want to go with USB is because I do
not own a computer with a serial port, nor do I know anybody
that has a serial port on their computer. USB just seems more
    reliable? But maybe i'm wrong.

So my question is. Does someone have detailed instructions or a
schematic on how to build a USB Jtag for the WRT54 series?
    Maybe there's a way I can implement Devilfish's Jtag cable for a
    router?

Any information is help at this point, just please no replies saying
to buy a cable, I already know I can buy one. It's the teach a
    man to fish principal.

    Thanks,

This should do the trick ...

Make sure that it can handle whatever chipset is in your router I'm not familiar with it ...

You have everything that you need here ....

    LPT JTAG's are a lot simpler ...
