jtag dm500s

I can jtag my dm500s everytime with either the dos or windows version of jtag but i cannot connect by rs232 to reflash image. the green light comes on and stays on but when i use dream up and click connect and power up it just hangs. i know the cable is ok, could anyone give me any ideas what to try next please.

Just a few pointers for you,
Are you (unticking) the box in dream up to stop FTP connection, have you tried other versions of dreamup? have you tried another cable ? (I did read you said it was ok) Have you tried another PC?, are you sure the correct and same com ports are allocated for connection both in device manager and dreamup.?

Hi, I have the same problem.

After a sucessfull jtag, the rs232 not work and the green ligth is On.
I tried in two diferent computers with diferent nullmodem cables.

Diferent dreamups also was tried.
