Huawei E353 Dongle Unlock

Hi I was wondering if it is possible to unlock the above dongle for free using software and an unlock code ? A friend advised me about this site so thought I would give it a shot.

Huawei modem Unlock Tool not working on E353

This software does not appear to provide the correct unlock code for a Huawei E353 USB modem. Does anyone have an unlocker that does work?

Its usually a con when someone comes into a forum and posts only once with a link to another external website.

Anyone know how to unlock a Huawei E1752Cu dongle?

Edit: figured it out. Downloaded Huawei Mobile Partner software from here & installed it. Inserted a different SIM. Huawei Mobile Partner will then prompt for the unlock code. Utilities for finding those can be found in many places on the net, e.g. here.

My problem was that the software provided with the dongle did not prompt for the unlock code, and none of the instructions I'd found said what you should use.

I didn't get any further replies, I would buy from ebay as at least you have buyer protection.
I looked at their website and it looked well done, but so was the one that scammed me for a Wildfire unlock last year that didnt work and took 3 months to get a refund through a Paypal transaction dispute

I have tried 2 free unlocking sites neither work for huawei e353 so i happen to accept there is no free unlocking for this modem by code
