    PSP NOOB

Any help on this one would be much appreciated.
My son's is running 3.40 oe-a and has a fault.
The games and iso's start up screen is fine until we start to play a game then everything freezes and we have to remove the battery to start again.
We have been using this for a couple of years now with no probs until recently.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as it is gonna get wanged out the window soon.

Are you using a real Sony memory stick or a fake one off of Ebay m8?

I'd flash it to the very latest firmware m8, see if that helps, Ebay memory generally is fake memory.

if its a new game u tried then just update ur firmware.
u need to go to 3.52m33 for oe users Digital Kaos - Downloads - 3.52 SE/OE/M33 Installation
          then 3.52m33-4 Digital Kaos - Downloads - 3.52 M33 Custom Firmware Update 4
          then u can go to latest 5.00 M33-4. Digital Kaos - Downloads - CFW 5.00 M33-4

          and as for the memory
go to the card in the psp press triangle then info
if it says unknown its fake
          supported then it real

              Still Freezing

Okay guys here's a conundrum for you.
I am now up to date as per above but the ~~~~in thing is still freezin.
I am using a genuine UMD and all is fine until i actually play the game then a few moments in it freezes and i have to remove battery and start again.
This then happens again and again so is unplayable.
Anyone got any ideas for me to try next.

              Thanks all for the help

Try deleting the config.se file too.
