From mess to success: Teenager finds ?53,000 lottery ticket after being told to clean his room
A scruffy teenager has cleaned up after he won a tidy ?53,000 on the National Lottery - all because his mum told him to tidy his room.
Messy Ryan Kitching, 19, reluctantly cleaned his bedroom after being nagged by mum Susan.
But as the irked teen started to tidy away old socks and used pizza boxes he unearthed twelve old lotto tickets in his drawer.
He was about to bin them but decided to take them to the supermarket where he works part-time to double-check. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of his life.
