yeah can't imagine today will be easy for those who don't have their mums here, being a mum is a blessing but having a mum is a privilege
hope today is spent with loved ones to those whose mums are no longer with them, and to those whos mums are still here, remember to cherish them and give them loads of hugs and kisses cause they deserve it.
mums are the best people in the world, they do so much for so little in return
Totally agree. My Mum has been very ill over the last couple of years so cherish while you can.Time for all of us is finite.I lost my Dad seven years ago this coming November, always go to the cemetary on Father's day and when he died.I don't know if it gets better but I have learned to remember him when he was fit and full of life.Keep those thoughts in a little box in your mind where no-one else can go,I have found this comforts me when I need it.
sorry for your losses lagerland and craigyj, I hope you can find solace in what good memories you have of your loved ones.
I don't think anything will prepare you for the loss of a parent, you can't imagine life without them because they are there from day one.
I don't believe in any religion but do like to think that there is a heaven and that people look out for us. It's nice to have a place to go to, even if it is in your thoughts, or looking a photos where you can feel close to those who are no longer here.
cant say i always look forward to mothers day as im not one. however ashleigh always sends me a card for mothers day and ive kept every single one of them.
living without a parent isnt easy. my dad died of cancer when i was 21 and at times i envy my friends who have had their father to guide them and turn to in times of need. my other half has never known his father and even now he will say how much he would have loved to have one
so to any single mums out there please rethink about keeping your childs father out of their life as every child has a right to know who his or her parents are.
