Codes Being Updated??

I have flashed my 1000 and its working great. I just wonder what 'codes being updated' means when i tune into the BICS channels and the PPV channels?

I have also heard that you can get PPV movies and events. How is this possible and can you tell what channels they will appear on.

you only get ppv channels when an event is coming up or an event is on

codes being updated will happen on any "scrambled" channel when vm roll the keys. it is effectively a software update on your box. when the image you have on your box cant replicate the keyroll method you need a new image.

i dont have a 1000 box but they are exactly the same as all the other cable boxes when t comes to ppv. you can pick up ppv films that someone has ordered in your area. the chances of picking up a film that you want to watch at the time you want are virtually nil. ppv sporting events are streamed differently (not true vod) and you will pick these up no problems.
