eurovox maxv flash failed

just done a flash on above box,when it got to the end it came up download failed and the box kept flashing on and off standbye with the 4 dashes,tried it a few times with different firmware came up the same,power box on again and all is ok goes to standbye with clock and when powered on get 4 0000,cant check if all is ok cos not got gable,does this mean its not done??? ty in advance

Try doing a scan mate sometimes it can say download failed but yet flashed ok.

as i said pal cant test not got cable i just end up doing them as u do just wondered even if it says right at end download failed it meant it,if u understand and ty very much 4 quick reply

The reason I asked you is if it does give you an option to Deep scan then it has flashed correctly. I WASN'T TELLING YOU TO DO A DEEP SCAN.

The older firmware didn't have the DEEP SCAN option, that is the way you tell but if your going to talk to someone like that who is trying to help then I'll leave you to it.

OK lets put it back on track then and answer HiTeck's query regards Deepscan. It can be confusing regards the way some posts are interpreted.
