Epg disappears when put 5402onto standby

As the title says. Does anyone know why the epg data disappears when I put 5402 onto standby I'm using latest 117 original firmware and 118 phantom patch. While on this subject are these boxes designed to have downtime or can I just leave it on all the time removing the epg issue.

epg still doesn't get save to usb device so when you reboot box epg will be gone tm keeps saying that they are working on a way to autosave it when box is in standby mode but no joy yet.
if you want to leave the box on all the time that's up to your self your energy suplier won't mind
