Being very dense here, already have 117p installed and trying to find next updated Phantom patch on the forum but for love nor money can't find it! Can s'one point me to the right thread please... (not sure if 5402HD is a super or not either....)

I installed 118p for a couple of guys i know on there 5402's and no problems reported since it was released, that should be a good sign.

I've been running 118 patch since I got new 5402 a couple of weeks back with no issues at all, and this is my first box so it was a complete newbie set up with no issues and still no problems

I wonder why the TM5402 won't open CD Netherlands, when all the older patched receivers will.
Strange for aore advanced model.

Hi. I have a TM5400 and Canaal Digitaal opens ok as well as BULSAT. Very surprised to hear that your TM5402 does not open it. Do you open BULSAT as it is also IRDETO 02? Have you tried the following:
a) Check in ECM if setting is for provider 0622.
b) Try to input keys manually and change key format ie for my box if active key is 04 i need to input key as 02 and 52, if its 06 it will be 03 and 53.

Just because they are Irdeto wont make them open.
Loads of providers use irdeto but are not hacked.
The issue with the TM5402 is the patchmakers not incorporating canal nl into patch correctly.
Its the same on some other TM models like 6900 super I think.

it's the same on all 02 series like the 6902+7102+5402
and on the 6900+6800+7100 supers you have to revert back to older patches to get c.nl open but you won't have bul sat then
patch makers are lacking the will to fix this even after a lot of tm users requested this to be added to latest patches
but soon c.nl will not use irdeto anymore so it won't make any difference if they fix it now
you could use the v-plugserver to open these channels on your tm (a little program on pc that open the channels for you with the latest keys) just google for it and you will find it

Hi. thijs thanks for reply. I want to change my box in about 4 weeks time but undecided on whats best - a TM5402 or the Blade box. Whats your opinion? Regards
