Hi, someone i know got offered a fake iphone 4s 32gb. Does anyone have any experience with these. are they complete rubbish or are they a very good phone that does all it's legit one does, but cost a lot cheaper. Any advise at all thanks very much.

I can see your point, but over the years i've bought fake stuff that is complete rubbish. I've also got fake things that turn out better than the original. I've heard these fake iphones are better for your own apps and stuff. I'm not rearly asking does the perfume last as long as the orignal, i'm more wanting to know how long will it last.Comment

most of the coppies come from china,you may remember the i9+++ that came out to copy the original iphone,i know 6 persons that bought it mostly as looked like iphone but also had twin sims and cost ?49,all lasted a max of 9 months.
also coppied chargers for ds,i have seen cheap chinese coppies blow out the wall socket,at ?1.89 including postage clue is in price.no one on this forum can give you a straight answer to your question how long will it last etc,when you buy anything from china,you take your chance,will it work or will it not,some may be good but others,just go to bookies with your money.so a straight answer is,take your chance and live with it.Last edited by ray156; 24 May, 2012, 19:20.Comment

I have seen some of these. And you can tell that they are fake but are getting better yet never ever and I mean ever will they be as responsive or quality as a real iPhone .twin sims is about all this Chinese copies have got,you would soon get posed off with swiping and it being slow etc etc. Not for me any day of the week at any priceComment

The problem as to why these exist is because Apple want to much money for the damn things in the first place.
There is no way in hell the iphone 4s is worth anywhere near what they ask for it and its also the most expensive on the market.
Not even the Samsung Galaxy is anywhere near the price of the iphone. Apple are being too greedy and eventually they will pay for it. Because other manufacturers will match the Apple iOS and improve on it, the next thing you will see is these fakes that can install iOS without the limits, upgrade/downgrade, unlocked and can be jailbroken without issue. This is where all of apples attempts to lock down their overpriced stuff will eventually come to an end and lets be honest if you know the Apple hardware well enough all you have to do is wipe out the apple protection at manufacturing level and the fakes will be the same as the originals with inferior insides.
But then the failure of Apple to make their kit water proof to any degree is a major failure to listen to their users. The i devices are really really delicate and when you can have a ?800 brick in your pocket because it rained on your way to work one day which phone looks more cost effective?
We have a huge problem of fakes in europe and there is one and only one reason why! The major manufacturers want too much for their goods because they vastly overprice their crap. So it does forgers good to copy them and sell them on the cheap. This wouldnt be an issue if the originals were cheaper and were within the price range of everyone not the elite few.Comment
