eurovox 7000 hdd do i need 2 format it?

hi, my box doesnt seem to recognise my external hdd, it is the usb connection type not push in. do i need to format it on my computer first?

any help wud be appreciated

use your pc to format the hdd, and make sure you format it as FAT and not NTFS mate.

re above: it is not giving me the FAT option only NTFS, im using vista, any ideas?
