    burglar alarm recommendation

    looking to buy a burglar alarm soon preferably wireless anyone recommend any

          my alarm works fine mate i got the one without the outdoor siren
          but my friend got this one after with the outdoor siren
          its a good job ya can install these yourself they have youtube videos on how to do it

              it's an extended semi front door, back door + 4 ground floor windows

                  Visonic (Cheapest)
                  Texecom Prem 24 wireless kit.
                  Pyronix\Castle They do a nice one too and it uses their own SMS centre

                  Depends how much you want to spend etc etc

                                                  iron bars n doors work best

                                                  family member went on holiday has an alarm but no 1 came or reported it when it went off
                                                  burglar pulled plastic framework out around window and popped out the glass

                                                      would always do wired system, if you can fit a car alarm you can fit house alarm as basically same. constant 12v runs around house.
                                                      PIR= passive infra red, detects movement 6wires
                                                      CONTACT= magnetic switch 2wires
                                                      VIBRATION= as in description detects forceable entry
                                                      buy parts to suit your house
