need advice on a new reciever

thanks in advance to anyone who answers.

been reading a magazine which has a preview of a golden media spark triplex...it looks good...and is listed as being ?140.

but i am not sure if it will be suitable for my needs.

i'd like a dual tuner box, which supports CCcam / mgcamd, usb hard drive, easily updated channel lists (something like bouquets on a dreambox), and apps (mainly youtube...not youtube 'videos' app...an app that will play all my youtube videos.

which box without getting a new mortgage would suit me ?

      hi doug

i have the alien2 box which is the same and the enigm2 images are not without fault yet as this box is new most images are only at beta stage at best

it will be a good box when the images come thru

the spark firmware is ok but more like openbox firmware and i do not think there is 7 day epg for spark firmware yet so makes recording difficult if you need to set a timer

if your looking a fully working box this is not it yet but as i say there is some nice images out but they do have faults ie wont run mgcamd yet or hd does not work or scart does not work ect not all these faults show on same image

The Venton boxes look good for just a little bit more, if you looking around ?150 - ?200, or perhaps the duo clone.

nobody can say the vu duo clones are worth the money with all the problems they had recently so i would say avoid them also.
