    DM 500S

    I'm new here guys. And I have that little knowledge on this. So any info on how to connect to my laptop. As I don't have a null socket on mine.

    you need a rs232-to-usb adapter m8.. they are available off E*** for a few quid. you will then need E1 dream up to flash your box, DCC to telnet/ftp into it and DBedit to upload channel lists ect. you will probably need a more up-to-date image also, you can find a few in the downloads section and tutorials on how to use the different programmes in the stickies at the top of the dreambox section. regards mdt

      use flashwizard pro mate, just select which image you want pli, gemini etc, takes about 1 minute

        flashwizard pro is fine but its better imho to have a null-modem cable with adapter for when something goes wrong as it probably will,regards mdt

              Just found the necessary cable/plugs. From where you said. It would of took me ages to find them. Thanks for that. My box will be coming soon. Thanks again.
