    DM500HD on sly broardband

Hi Im trying to set up a DM500HD on a sly broardband connection using a standard sly D-Link router.

The problem is for some reason the 500HD wont go online.
Pop it over to my mates and use his vermin media cable broard band and its online in no time perfect

I gave disabled the fire wall in the sly router and given the 500 its own port ip ect ect with unlimited access.

Does sly broard band detect and stop any cs or dreamboxes ?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post

s*y doesnt detect your ip traffic although i wouldnt use a uk service on s*y bb personally. check you havent got a ip conflict somewhere in your system, also are you using as a client or in and out? use open port check tool , ping test ect to check your system. regards mdt
