Jailbreak iPad 2

Hey chaps, I want to JB my Dads ipad2 but cannot find a JB for 5.0.

Any help please, apart from flook it in the cut, shady.

Really struggling with ths guys. Downloaded absinthe, but it says device not supported.
What do I do?
Somebody must know.

Mick where did you get your copy of absinthe from mate. Check your current firmware version in settings/general/about check version.

You should be on 5.0 or 5.0.1 to use absinthe.

heres a fresh copy as always back up to itunes before attempting any jailbreak

Yes, restoring from iTunes will install iOS 6

I'm on 5.1.1 and I used absinthe, doing a network reset won't alter your iOS but a restore on iTunes will, I spent hours looking for the problem and saw the network reset and it worked, but looking at your last post I've got a feeling you have already gone to ios6 !!(asking for a ios6 jailbreak) all the best

Good, have a shot at network reset if you havn't already, if it works bang on, if not i will have a trawl though a few orther sites for you
