ive got a ihas 124b ive been using this drive with no probs since the firmware come out but now when im burning its burning 100% but im getting a error at 50% verifying.just wondering if any1 else is having this problem or am i looking at getting a new 1

Then chances are your burner could be gone. You could try some diff verbs to make sure

Don't worry about verifying your discs so long as you get 100% on your burns it will be fine...

Yes cunny verifying disc isn't impotent so long as his gets the 100% burn (no faster than x4) he wont have any problems.

Well thats funny you see, I am on my 3rd IHAS as the discs would not read in an xbox (VERBS) and shitty results in KPROBE.

SO with XDG3 games, the quality of your burns DO matter

When mine fail verifying at 50% I get unrecognised disk error on the Xbox

As I said might be time for a new burner or try dif verbs.

You could always try reflash of the drive and setting your eprom settings

Yes I'm going to buy a new one they have shot up in price now ,I put that as Ron was saying that they will still work as long as they burn 100% as my Xbox wont read them if they fail verify at 50%

Ron is wrong, Cunny is quite right, it is vital to test xdg3 discs even if they burn/verify 100%.

Personally I use Nero DiscSpeed rather than Kprobe to test my burns then try installing the game to xbox. If Nero shows PIE >5 or 6 and disc score is <90 there is a good chance of getting an 'unreadable disc' error and game will not install.
