technomate 500 s ethernet port

hi all, ive a tm500s and the ethernet port dont seem to work, ive checked the feed with another box and its all ok, the two lights on the port dont flash or anything anyone had same problem, is this a known issue, this did work but the box hasnt been used for six month or so , any help cheers

Welcome to DK although not the introduction section nevermind, if you can access the TM500 via the Webif then all should be OK if you cant then its FUBAR

not sure what wedif is but i can flash the box and get free channles , it sometimes takes a few attempts to boot could it be a power issue ? cheers. i was a member before but email address got scaped when ntl turned to virgin so ive set a new account up hence me not introducing myself sorry

If you can flash the box then the Port is working accessing webif is just typing the IP of the box into your web browser

sorry should have said flash the box with serial lead not ethernet
