USB Loaders - An error has occured...

Hi guys, I try to load the games from HDD through USB loader (Configurable, GX, WiiFlow). I can detect the HDD, I can see the list of the games on it, unfortunately trying to load any game freezes my wii and returns the message "An error has occured...". This is my syscheck report:

    Welcome to DK.

Does it say what the error is and have any of the USB Loaders ever worked properly?

That sysCheck doesn't look to bad though you have a few stubbed wads in there if you want to remove them IOS11, IOS20, IOS30, IOS40, IOS50, IOS52, IOS60, IOS70, IOS80 then download Digital Kaos - Downloads - IOS11_IOS20_IOS30_IOS40_IOS50_IOS52_IOS60_IOS70_IO S8O and add them to the wad folder on the SD card and install them with MMM.

Thank you for that. I will try to install it and let you know.

It is not depend on loader. It looks always the same - GX, CFG, WiiFlow. I cannot detect HDD when I am downloading loader from SD card, so I have to remove SD card and download the loader directly from HDD (FAT32 incl. wdfs files). It works, I can see the list of the games. Then I try to load the game and it always freeses... Game load - IOS222. I also tried IOS249 with no effect...

Download Digital Kaos - Downloads - d2x v8 Final wad pack

Open the d2x-v8-final-wad-pack-rar file on PC and extract cI0s245 through to cI0S251 (7 in total) to SD_CARD>WAD.

Remove SD card and put it in Wii.

Go to HBrew menu, select ModMiiManager, then select WAD manager, press 1 to install all wads in folder.

        Also remove any stubbed I0Ss.

Now the USB loaders should work 100% and the game shouldnt freeze or hang up.

You may get this error along the way.

        usb-loader-requires-least-cios-222-245-250-a-291481

But forget that for now and try what I posted there and see how you get on.

As this HDD ever worked whats the make and model of the drive? There are a few threads showing the same problem.

Its strange it can't read the USB Loader info of the SD card but it does if you add it to the HDD. Is the SD card formatted FAT32 and what size is it? Which USB Loader GX are you using the new 3.0 or the old 2.1?

Looking at that sysCheck again I assumed he had install all the 7 d2x 8.0 wads but he's missed 2 cIOS250 and cIOS251, well spotted Frogger. Not that it should make that much difference if your aren't using IOS250 or IOS251 though MW3 needs IOS250.

Hi, d2x-v8-final installed. IOS11, IOS20, IOS30, IOS40, IOS50, IOS52, IOS60, IOS70, IOS80 also installed. And it still freezes. Maybe some IOS is corrupted. How can I check it?
I am using GX 3.0. Should I do anything with GX load?
            Thank you again!

You don't have to remove them all. I've already told you how to remove most of whats is showing in that sysCheck have you done that?

Well apart from IOS250 is missing IOS251[58] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final) it looks ok.

This will be needed to run MW3.

Unfortunately it didn't resolve my problem. It is always the same. Any idea?

Well that sysCheck looks ok now. If you want to remove IOS16 stub just download my cIOS16-v257.zip and add it to the wad folder and install it.

Well providing you have a compatible USB hard drive

Then it must be how your adding the games on the drive. Is it formatted FAT32, NTFS or WBFS?

                          Thank you again.

I am using ADATA Classic CH94 HDD, 300GB. I did a partition for Wii (about 50GB), the second partition is just a back up space for my photos. The partitions were done with EASEUS Partition Master. The Wii partition is FAT32 and the added files are wbfs. I used Wii Game Manager 1.5.0.2... I try to load the games called Need For Speed: Nitro (R7XP69), Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games (ROLP8P) or F1 2009 (R9FP36).

Well if I were you I would get another drive for your photo's as 50GB isn't that big you might get 50 games on it. Most people use Wii Backup Manager to add games to a drive.

I don't have a problem with Need For Speed: Nitro, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games or F1 2009.

I just checked th HHD through Wii Back Up Manager and...
There is an column called "MD 5 Hash" there. I can see phrase "not found" for the files which were added by Wii Game manager. And there are some numbers for the games I just added to HDD with Wii Back Up manager. It's the difference... Ok, I will try to load the "new" games into my Wii and let you know...
