    PS3 slim Cannot Start The System Storage Not Found

    Whats wrong here? The mates ps3 has been dropped and this is the startup message hes getting.

    Does he need a new Hard Drive or can it be fixed?

    Someone mentioned Safe Mode. How can I try to enter that?

    EDIT: Right got it into safe mode so here go`s.............

    And its a blank screen with green power light on?

    got this from another forum. Simply put, the HDD connection to the PS3 is loose. Did you recently replaced the HDD or physically messed around with it? Either way, you will have to take the HDD out and properly insert it back into the PS3. [Note, the PS3 will reformat the HDD]. hope that helps.

      Hard Drive was corrupted after taking a knock. Got a 40gig one working with a Sony Ps3 4.31 f/w update on it.

      Done it through Safe Mode as well though.
