Marine tanks

I have had my tank setup since Christmas Eve and was wondering if any one can help me out explaining how much of KH Coralline Gro you need to put in. When I do my test or normally tips over the edge at 11 drops of kh. I tried to work it out but not sure if this is correct I add 4.5 ml to a tank of about 175l. All my other test have come back spot on but this one I can't get my head round.
