hi any 1 ever heard of the nbox enigma 2 hd recorder seen on ebay with twin tuner and 250gb hd not sure if i should risk it as a twin tuner box any 1 know anything about them?

Dreambox edit will do the trick,and with it been an enigma 2 duel box,you can use any e2 channel list

Ive seen these boxes working nice bit of kit only problem is ya need to by them with enigma already on it as modding them needs steady hand with solder iron and i can find details of it as i wanted to have a crack at it

if anyone finds the soldering details let me know

hi i did buy the box, channel lists easy to install with dreambox edit etc, and i use dcc to ftp to box, picture quality is good and with the new openpli image crossepg works, couldnt get it to work with other images. had a few minor issus, when you restart the box i have had to manually restart the network but no big deal i suppose. only other problem is i cant get it to move my motorised dish, playing around trying to fix it now, not sure if its the enigma images as i just tried the same on an amiko alien 2 and same result

I have seen a thread somewhere about how to get a motorised dish to work with the nbox

I can't find the thread again but I do remember that it is to do with the twin tuners being incorrectly identified ie feed 1 is actually feed 2
And the person had to switch them round in the config and it got the motor setup working correctly
Because I goes to the motor and the other goes straight to the dish

Any further updates on this box guys as I'm considering buying one as they look an ideal starter box and with built in hdd and twin tuner should keep the wife and kids happy. Only thing is all the ones on ebay seem to come with only 3 months guarantee and the same box sold by the Polish are nearly half the price for some reason. Can the language setting on these be changed to english so are usuable by the likes of us as they also have enigma2 installed?
